Maria Andzelm from Poland, Henri Zylberminc from Belgium, Hilde Jacobsthal from Holland, Ferenc Schatz from Hungary, Liliane Belinne from Belgium, and Preben Munch-Nielsen from Denmark are all lifesavers of Jews from the Holocaust. Maria helped hide two men for two years and after the war was over later, she married one of them. Henri helped hide his Jewish friends in his empty house because his family was hiding. Hilde helped thousands of children escape from the train station overnight into a home with other people so they wouldn’t die. Ferenc helped Jews by giving them fake documents from the underground. Liliane helped Jews hide in good homes where they wouldn’t get caught. Preben helped Jews escape to another country by sneaking them onto a friend’s boat.
