My Brother Sam is Dead by: James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier

My Brother Sam is Dead by: James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier
I thought this was a good book. This book was about a boy named Tim Meeker who's brother Sam goes off and enlists in the Revolutionary War. This book takes place in Redding Connecticut in 1775. Tim is faced with the challenge of what side to be on, either the Loyalists or the Patriots. This book tells a good description of what life was like back then and what the people had to go through such as, in this story, of what Tim had to go through after his father and his brother die. Another thing about this book is a lot of the people and places were real.

I would give this book an 8 out of 10 rating.
